I believe you should always look the part whether it be with makeup or without makeup..I have met quite a few men without fully being made up...My philosphy...If I have sweats on my doo is tight....If my hair is pulled back my gear is tight...Going to the car wash nice jeans and tank.....Alot of men at the carwash on Saturdays and Auto parts store...

I imagine it's like realizing the man you married only practiced hygiene during the dating period.

But thank God when we both say "I do" we realize that we love each other and our commitment and passion to work on having a healthy, amazing marriage is based on more than makeup and filth.

My 80-year old Mom has lived by the "look perfect every time you leave the house" mantra for her entire life. It took a lot of time to get ready even before she went out for groceries. Of course, since she didn't work outside the home, she often didn't have to go out on schedule. Except for working in the garden on the front lawn, she's always looked great when she leaves. (not me!)

Well Neenah, I say you should look presentable and not overdo it for "everyday" occasions. Then when you're prepared to go out on the town or do something special then you should take it up a notch or more...depending. I think that men like to see how their ladies look (and change it up) when they're all dressed up and if you look like that all of the time, then what will you do?
